Organizers: Ciqam

 Ciqam, previously known as Women Social Enterprise (WSE) originally started off as a pilot project to help provide poor households with a means of generating a sustainable income. The year 2006, proved to be a huge milestone for Ciqam when His Highness the Aga Khan visited Altit Fort along with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker. The documentation work carried out by the young females was hugely appreciated and commended. This paved way for the women working at Ciqam to travel to Khorog, a small town in Tajikistan in March 2007, to perform a topographic survey on the region.
