The presentation will share Australia’s experience on savanna projects with Indigenous people globally, identifying opportunities to leverage Indigenous solutions to climate change while building resilient Indigenous communities worldwide. The initiative, through significant research by United Nations University, has confirmed strong interest in the technology in many key countries, including in Indonesia, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, Cambodia, Namibia, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Madagascar, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Guatemala and Belize.
