Earth to Paris- Le Hub


With the aim of  highlight the connection between people and planet and the need for strong climate action, Earth to Paris- Le Hub will bring, on december 7 at the Petit Palais and December 8 at Unesco headquarters, experts, advocates, CEOs, and other leaders to discuss creative and impactful solutions to climate change. 

This event, broadcast via livestream and live-translated into the six UN languages (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese), will bring the messages from the Petit Palais stage to a global audience. These events will be an opportunity to inspire bold, meaningful action for people and the planet.

Thematic Breakfasts:

The UN Foundation and its board will host a series of high-level breakfast conversations on topics of interest and relevance, such as climate science, featuring the newly elected Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); Sustainable Energy for All, featuring its new Director-General; impacts on the oceans; and carbon pricing strategies around the world. These morning events will be held on december 7-10 in the Western Paris - Vendome.

High-Level reception & Dinner

Also, in coordination with Earth To Paris- Le Hub, there will be a high-level reception and small private dinner on  December 8. The event will gather key representatives from government, international organizations, business, and civil society to recognize the French government and the city of Paris for their leadership on climate change.

Masterclasses

"Masterclass" sessions will inform reporters and bloggers about key climate issues, including the substance of the COP negotiations. This content is intended for an informed lay audience. Masterclass sessions will be offered at both the Petit Palais and UNESCO on December 7-8.
