2021: COP26

The COP 26 UN Climate Change Conference, hosted by the UK in partnership with Italy, will take place from 31 October to 12 November 2021 in the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow, UK.

Overview schedule for COP 26

This year, the physical conference is augmented by the COP26 Platform, a tool to help participants manage their time, connect with other participants and get the most out of this year’s COP. This platform is accessible only to registered participants.

2019 Pre-COP25 Meeting

PRE COP 25 is the preparatory meeting for the Conference of Parties (COP) of the United Nations Climate Change Convention (UNCCC). It is originally organized by the incoming Chair of the COP, which corresponds to Chile this year; but 2019 will be different because Costa Rica and Chile agreed to organize these two meetings in collaboration.

2018: COP 24

The Katowice Climate Change Conference, 2-14 December 2018, Katowice, Poland, will include the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 24) to the UNFCCC, along with meetings of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP), the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), and the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA). COP 24 is expected to finalize the rules for implementation of the Paris Agreement on climate change under the Paris Agreement work programme (PAWP). A High-Level Ministerial Dialogue (HLMD) on Climate Finance is expected to be held in conjunction with COP 24.

Bangkok Climate Change Conference - September 2018

The resumed forty-eighth sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice
(SBSTA 48-2) and Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI 48-2) as well as the sixth part of the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Paris Agreement (APA 1-6) took place from
4 to 9 September 2018, at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, Thailand.
